Executive Team

Jeffrey NjusExecutive Director
Our Executive Director, Jeffrey Njus, provides overall direction to the dynamic network of people and programs at Daily Bread, working with our active Board of Directors, our professional staff, and caring volunteers to ensure that no one in our area faces hunger or homelessness alone.  Jeff comes to Daily Bread with many years of experience in church ministry and non-profit service to families facing homelessness including at Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne, Community of Hope, and Hope Ministries.  Jeff earned a Masters Degree in Divinity and a doctorate in theology, while always seeking to apply that learning to the practical everyday reality of living the life of love for God and neighbor.  Jeff brings to Daily Bread a compassionate respect for the dignity of every person, an admiration for the resilience of people facing difficult challenges in their lives, along with the joy that comes with serving together in a bond of friendship.  When he is not at Daily Bread, you are likely to find Jeff walking on a nearby beach or riding his motorcycle down A1A, two of his favorite ways to get refreshed and renewed close to the ocean.
